Mobile Computing Devices & Clinical Information

A variety of web-based information may be accessed via mobile computing devices or downloaded to them for use off-line. Information is available for an increasing range of platforms: BlackBerry, iPhone / iPod, Palm, Symbian, Windows Mobile or Smartphone, etc. Check each site for details of platform availability and details of any payment that may be required.

DynaMed Installation Instructions
E-mail DynaMed using the WA Health e-mail system and request a serial number for your mobile device.
Note: Please do not use any personal e-mail accounts such as @iinet.com, @bigpond, @yahoo.com, @hotmail.com or @gmail.com etc when making a request for a serial number. For authentication reasons DynaMed cannot validate that you are affiliated with your institution when using these e-mail addresses.
When requesting a serial number from DynaMed support, specify which type of PDA device you are using to download DynaMed. (e.g. BlackBerry, iPhone, etc.) Types of mobile computing devices DynaMed supports.   Any problems, contact the Library.

Create an Account, Login and choose MyPDA

MD Consult for SmartPhones
Connect from the Library's link to MD Consult. Create an Account. Remember to logout once you have completed the process. Use your username and password to connect through your SmartPhone's connection to MD Consult. www.mdconsult.com
